Thick with blackberry fruit aromas and flavors. Tarry and darkly spiced. Really brooding. Tannins are cast in dense yet smooth form. The depth of flavor here is stunning, as is the balance. Drink now for a decade or more. Screw cap. 95 Points
James Suckling
Deepish red colour with a good tint of purple, the bouquet highly appealing, with an aromatic spice note that persists. The palate has rich, ripe, sweet fruit and the overall impression is of a delicious wine, properly ripe and beautifully handled. A superb wine; a classy modern Barossa shiraz. Drink 2017 to 2037, 95 Points
