Allocation FAQs
About
As a Stone Cellar member of any level (Limestone, Ironstone or Quartz), you will have the opportunity to choose your own 'allocation' of Head wines — once-off or annually — with the best possible pricing, before release to the public.
Put simply, you could have a standing order of The Blonde and The Brunette delivered to your cellar on the same day each year without having to re-order/miss out.
Once you’ve logged into your account, choose your wine allocations directly from within your account page. (Only members can see these allocations). Then select quantity and frequency. There are 2 allocation frequency options: either once-off or annually.
When you are happy with your selections, click the ‘Process’ button to be taken to Checkout where you will be prompted to provide payment details. Payment will only be processed 30th June each year or the next business day. You will be able to edit any of your selections until payment is processed. Perfect for those of us who can’t make up our minds!
We are offering The Blonde and The Brunette from our Limited Series. And, for the first time ever, we are offering our single vineyard, small production Wilton Hill Shiraz from our Icon Series.
We listened to our most loyal members. This is for those who miss out whenever a vintage sells out; those who are too busy and want to simplify/streamline their purchasing experience; those who are collectors/trying to build their cellars and the many who simply love our wines.
When you commit to an annual allocation, you are automatically secured allotments in the following vintages so you never miss out. It also means you’re purchasing the wine before release, at the best pricing, before it sells out, plus you gain exclusive access to rare wines, such as our Wilton Hill Shiraz. It’s easy to change an annual allocation to a once-off allocation, and vice versa, at any time through your account. In the future, we may only offer a new release Icon Series wine, such as Ancestor Vine Shiraz, this way.
You can claim a once-off allocation in the vintage on offer before its release and at the best pricing. This secures your allotment once. In the following vintage, your allotment will be redistributed to other members. You can change a once-off allocation to an annual allocation (as long as there is stock available), and vice versa, at any time through your account.
Never fear! We understand and have given you the benefit of total control to edit your allocation at any time through your account until payment is processed 30th June. Change your mind at will.
Allocations for new vintages open each year in July and close 30th June of the following year. Since excellence is everything to us, we will never over-produce The Blonde or The Brunette and our Wilton Hill will remain around 0.5% of our total production. We do recommend that you secure your allocation as soon as it opens to avoid disappointment later.
No. Non-members miss out as allocations are for our members only.
Yes. All our other wines are available for sale through our online store as usual. And as a Stone Cellar member, provided you have logged on, as you did today, you will continue to enjoy the benefits of your (Limestone, Ironstone or Quartz) membership tier on other purchases. Always remember to log on each time you visit our online store.
The minimum quantity in a once-off or annual allocation is 1 box (6 bottles per box). The minimum commitment is a once-off allocation.
